My corgi is blowing his puppy coat and I was NOT prepared for this amount of fur

Ok so nobody told me that when corgis blow their puppy coat it looks like a small sheep exploded in your living room. Biscuit is 6 months old and over the past two weeks our entire apartment has become a fur biome. I found corgi hair in my coffee this morning. Inside a sealed travel mug.

Hes not itchy or anything, acting totally normal, just... shedding every single follicle he has ever grown. Is this normal at this age? How long does it last? I bought a Furminator last week and filled an entire grocery bag in one session. He seemed to enjoy it though so thats something.

Also his new adult coat is coming in super flat compared to the fluffy puppy floof and im kind of grieving that honestly lol. Does the fluff come back at all or is he just a sleek boy forever now?
