Emergency vet visit at 2am - $3,200 later

My corgi ate a sock. A SOCK. He pulled it out of the laundry basket when I wasnt looking and swallowed it whole apparently.

Started vomiting at midnight. Emergency vet confirmed obstruction on xray. Surgery to remove one dirty sock from my dogs stomach: $3,200.

Hes fine now, acting like nothing happened. Meanwhile im stress eating and checking my bank account. Get pet insurance people. Seriously. I didnt have it and this wiped out my savings.
