How do you guys actually keep up with the shedding? My house is basically 50% dog hair now

We have a 3 year old golden named Cooper and the shedding has always been there, but this spring it hit a whole new level. I vacuumed the living room yesterday and filled the entire canister. Then this morning there was already a visible layer on the couch again.

I've tried the FURminator but i feel like it barely makes a dent. My partner is starting to complain and honestly i dont blame them, there's dog hair in places that make no logical sense. How does it even get inside the dishwasher?

What tools or routines have actually worked for you? Does it ever get better or do we just accept living in a golden snow globe forever?
