How do you exercise a dog during a heat wave?

Its been 100+ degrees here for the past week. My australian shepherd needs way more exercise than shes getting but I dont want to risk heat stroke.

We do early morning walks but by 8am its already 85. Swimming isnt an option where we are. What else can I do? Shes going stir crazy and so am I.
