Is it normal for a 10 week old puppy to sleep like 18 hours a day?

We brought home our golden retriever puppy Biscuit six days ago and I swear this dog sleeps constantly. Like I'll take him outside to potty, he does his business, plays for maybe 15-20 minutes and then he's out cold again. I've been timing it and he's easily sleeping 18+ hours a day.

I know puppies sleep a lot but this feels like a LOT a lot? He eats fine, drinks water, poops normal. No diarrhea or anything concerning. Just... sleepy. My neighbor's dog was apparently running laps around their house at this age so now I'm second-guessing everything.

Is this normal or should I call the vet? First time dog owner over here trying not to spiral.
