Moving from a house to an apartment with two dogs - update

A few months ago I posted asking for advice about downsizing from a house with a yard to a 1BR apartment with my two dogs (lab mix and beagle). Lots of people told me it couldn't work.

Update: its been 3 months and honestly? Its fine. We go to the dog park twice a day, do longer walks, and I got a dog walker for midday breaks. They adjusted faster than I did.

The biggest challenge is actually the bathroom schedule - no more just letting them out the back door. But weve got a routine now and it works.

If anyone else is facing a forced move into a smaller space - it can work. Your dogs care more about being with you than having a yard.
