My 2yr old lab screams when I leave - is this still fixable?

So Luna has been with us since she was 8 weeks old and we've always worked from home, which i think is part of the problem. my wife started a new job last month and suddenly we're both gone 8 hours a day and luna is absolutely losing her mind.

the neighbors texted us video from the first week and it was genuinely heartbreaking. she was howling and scratching at the door nonstop. we got a camera set up and watched her on lunch breaks - she barely settles down at all.

shes 2 years old so not a puppy anymore. everything i read says separation anxiety is easier to fix in young dogs. is it too late for us? has anyone dealt with this at age 2 or older and actually made progress? im willing to try anything at this point, the guilt is killing me.
