My rescue finally wagged his tail for the first time

Weve had him for 6 weeks and he was so shut down when we got him. Wouldnt make eye contact, tail always tucked, flinched at sudden movements.

Today he wagged his tail when i came home from work. Actually wagged it! I literally teared up. These small moments mean everything.
