Our dog passed his therapy dog evaluation!

After a year of training, our golden just passed his therapy dog evaluation! We start visiting the children's hospital next week.

The whole process was actually really fun. He had to pass a bunch of temperament tests - loud noises, wheelchairs, people acting erratic, other dogs. He just sat there wagging his tail through all of it.

If you have a calm, friendly dog who loves people, consider looking into therapy work. There's such a need for therapy dogs right now especially at hospitals and nursing homes.
