Week 3 with our puppy - brutal but also kind of amazing?

we picked up our lab mix puppy mochi 3 weeks ago. she was 8 weeks old, adorable, and we had done SO much research. read books, watched videos, found a trainer, bought all the stuff. felt completely prepared.

i was not prepared. week 1 i cried twice. week 2 my husband and i had an actual argument about whose turn it was to take her out at 3am. she bit my ankles every single morning while i made coffee. i stepped in pee 4 times in one day.

but then week 3 happened. she slept through the night (once, but still). she sat for a treat without being asked. she started bringing me toys when she wanted to play instead of just attacking my feet. and i just... really love her? like genuinely so much it's weird.

anyway just wanted to share for anyone currently in the dark tunnel part. it does get better. mochi says hi from her first ever nap in her crate without crying
