What its really like having a shiba inu

Wanted to give people a realistic picture since shibas are trendy right now because of memes.

My shiba is 4 years old. Heres what nobody tells you: they dont cuddle. They barely acknowledge your existence some days. Training them is like negotiating with a tiny furry dictator who does not care about your feelings.

He will look at a treat, look at me, and choose to do the OPPOSITE of what I asked just to prove a point. He screams (yes screams) at the vet. He judges everyone who enters our home.

Do I love him? Absolutely. Would I recommend the breed to most people? Honestly no. Theyre not beginner dogs. Theyre barely intermediate dogs. Theyre like the dark souls of dog ownership.
